On the topic of the High Overseer / Captain Whathisface bit, there are actually 6 or so distinct ways that situation can play-out and end in success. I don't think the other missions have as many outcomes though. -
Little be annoyed at how trivial the game becomes once you've got level 2 blink and time bend. Even playing completely non-lethal and on very hard I just steamrolled the last 2/3rds of the game.

Further reports have revealed that the campaign takes 4 hours playing on easy and going through the game at a moderate pace without looking at/for much (if any) side content. Additionally it seems as though the game should remain interesting for multiple play-throughs in a similar fashion to Deus Ex (Lethal/Non-Lethal/Pacifist and Stealth/Non-Stealth runs). I also spoiled the ending for myself but that is the price of busting bargoes. #BargoBusters

I do feel however that most of those things are only rage creating until you figure out an effective counter to them. Most of the things that seem like bullshit (especially to new players) can be overcome with a bit of careful planning. Except blaster bombs; those things are dumb. That said I can understand why the new game isn't as brutally punishing as the original, I just hope they haven't swung too far in the other direction. -
My biggest gripe is the move twice; shoot once thing, it seems like such a dumb system for a variety of reasons. Also classes and weapons restricted to classes annoys me to no end. There's a bunch of other, smaller things that I think are silly but I can deal with.

So I just had the worst/best FTL moment. I was up to the final sector and had just wrecked an automated drone. I decided to go to the bathroom while my guys healed up/repaired everything. Upon returning everyone except my zoltan (Breckon) was dead and oxygen levels were at 0%. After thinking about it for a moment I realized that this was due to the fact that my zoltan was the only thing powering my oxygen and that by moving him to the medbay to heal I had shut off the life support. Furthermore the only reason Breckon survived is because he was powering the medbay with his zoltan aura, thus keeping himself alive despite total asphyxiation. Congrats Nick.

The sound quality isn't that bad. It's better than the panels that got put on youtube at any rate. For the record, I remember the Instincts reference, along with "Farts Cry: In Stinks". EDIT: Oh and Icebox got put in the cooler.

Someone should totally organize an Idle Thumbs DayZ session and get 10 or 20 people running around together.
