It's fun. The story is nothing new to anyone who has seen Blade Runner or Battlestar Galactica and the main character is a bit of a blank but once it gets going I found myself pretty immersed. If you want an idea of how it controls, think Mass Effect 2.

Just finished reading Freedom by Jonathan Franzen. Despite being what felt like a little bit of a political soap box at times it was an excellent read. I'd not read any of Franzen's work before so I was surprised at how quickly I caught onto his style allowing me to breeze through the novel without feeling like I wasn't giving it enough attention. I'll be interested to check out some of his other novels once I work my way further through my already too large stack. I'm going to finally read From Hell which I started this morning then from there I'll read Candide, or Optimism by Voltaire followed by Snow by Orhan Pamuk unless I change my mind at some point during.

Hope this one works like Gunstringer where I can play it sitting down. I'm done with adjusting furniture to play games.

Ugh, thanks for the reminder. I'm replaying UAKM and I'm up to the bit with the security robot...so annoying.

I enjoyed Mean Streets for nothing more than the fact that I wrote down pages of notes, Overseer is actually a sort of a remake of it (in that it tells the same basic story of Murphy's first case). MM isn't so good but slightly interesting from a back story perspective. Not that anyone should take anything from this but Pandora Directive is one of my favourite games. A sort of formative game experience for me if you will... For that reason, the amount I've pleged to this one is...well, more than I'm willing to admit.

Based on the latest cast, should I have received access to Phaedrus' Secret Hole? I sent an e-mail when asked but received no reply.

Played through the first episode and it was great. Excellent job of mixing nice small and tense zombie scenes with some good character interaction. Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but what are the chances we can get a black/white/grey filter so the graphics match the comics a little more closely?

Yeah, this is...interesting, especially after this pretty depressing interview with Scott Murphy. I'd consider putting money into it (you know it is going to be a kickstarter), but I wouldn't have high expectations.

So I just finished, lots to think about. Will be sure to start writing down a number of notes so that I can hopefully send in something of worth.

So...are they really going to be demanded to discuss 130 topics on the final pre-launch podcast?

Given Chris' reading history, this one will change month to month. I don't expect, for example, many would be able to finish something like Infinite Jest in a month.

Threw (or throwing considering it hasn't come out of my account yet) $210 your way. Eagerly await the official return which will give me more listening material at work. Also, really looking forward to the book club, great idea. Are you going to be taking suggestions for this?

New here, long time cast listener and just contributed to the Kickstarter so yeah, I guess it was a good time to sign up to the forums. Kickstarter seemed like fate or something given I have been re-listening to the archive over the past couple of weeks.
