Crikey, It's Christmas (2014)!

Every year my mother asks me what i want for christmas, and every year i saw a surprise. The poor woman, i'm 32, i should have some inkling^^

Also, how did you miss "Criminey It's CHRISTMAS!"?

 

Finally got round to checking this, and they're both euphemisms for Christ, apparently, but I think "crikey" sounds better.

I especially like learning secret blasphemies so when fuddy-duddies complain about my bad language I can switch to secret swearing instead.

The first thought I had was that I know a couple of people who get very worked up about blasphemies, and those two words just skyrocketed in usefulness to me.

Given Steve Irwin's propensity for using 'crikey', and the many, many opportunities he had for God to punish him for blasphemy, I guess that counts as proof that God doesn't care. Or at least doesn't care about Australians.
