Is anyone else watching it?

In case you don't know what it is, it is an amateur Dota tournament featuring game industry professionals.  Among those participants include idle thumber-s Nick Breton and Sean Vanaman as well as Dota Today co-host Brad Muir and regular guess Ayesee.

If you an interested, you can find out about the teams here and you can look at the bracket here (spoilers)

You can watch it at http://www.twitch.tv/rektreational or http://www.twitch.tv/rektreational2.  There are VODs on those twitch accounts for those interested in seeing some of the recent games.

There is also a rektreational subreddit which has some updates and info at http://www.reddit.com/r/Rektreational/.

I was really hoping it would be a tournament that you could buy a pass to or whatever from the in game client. Would have been my first time buying one of those!

I've watched a few of the matches on twitch and watched the Potato Day matches from the client. This has been my first experience watching amateur play with commentary and so far I like it. Beyond the fun of rooting for a Potato Day / Ayesee Slater matchup in the semifinals, it's a nice change of pace watching an organized Dota tournament that isn't being played at an intimidatingly-high skill level.

I made a highlight video for the first round.  Since I am amateur as heck at making videos I either messed up the quality or maybe twitch downloads are always low quality, but it looks bad unless watched in HD.  Anyway, give it a look.  It has some cool plays, I think.

I watched the Potato Day, and Venomancer? I Hardly Knew Her matches. Looking forward to more of this. Does anyone know if they have announced the dates for round 2?

I would really like to have had audio from the players as an additional audio track. I guess I'm spoiled by watching the GB Dota shows and various other streams.

Good job on the highlights, much appreciated!

I keep reading and hearing about dota2 and I'm interested in watching/maybe playing?! Are there any good sources of shorthand to understanding this game? Provably a dumb question, but the more I read and hear about it the more confused I become:/

Awww.. Potato Day and Aysee Slater didn't even get to compete in the Losers Bracket.... :(

There goes the dream of ever having Chris and Jake commentate a Sean v. Nick match..

There's this article that was written for The International 2 years ago http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/dota-2-general/453950-so-you-wanna-watch-dota-2-a-primer

Also this has links to many guides http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/dota-2-general/453835-welcome-to-dota2

I think they also have one for Starcraft 2 players wanting to watch/play dota2.

two good/rough games. game 1 - one team fight outcome different or no buyback & game ends differently

game 2 - that was typical AA ult chaos.  even when you win a battle still lose a few lords & the push

hope everyone playing had fun, it was neat to watch

Can it be watched anywhere? I don't see it on the Rektreational youtube channel (yet?).
