clyde Posted April 10, 2014 Freeindiegam.es is done for. http://www.freeindiegam.es/2014/04/goodbye/ Kinda sucks you know? But it was just a mushroom that sprouted to mate (or whatever fungi do) and now decomposes leaving behind the less prominent (yet far more important) mycelium of small-games culture it helped promote. Still sad though. I still haven't seen the entire archive though, so in a way this is encouraging; thinking of the games they've posted as a limited quantity may allow me to consume the entireity of them. clyde Posted April 24, 2014 Warp Door is nice. I like this level of curation. I just played MethLab Agency which Warp Door listed. The graphical effects are something I've never seen in a game. The objectives don't really work for it though. I'd rather examine the sound samples in 3d space than collect them and have them disappear.
clyde Posted July 31, 2014 It looks like Rock, Paper, Shotgun is highlighting a freeware game once a day. This is of particular interest to me because I see that there are typically more than ten comments for each game. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/tag/freeware-garden/

lizzyinthesky Posted August 24, 2014 Browsing Itch.io is a great way to find stuff. I've been playing a few things (like Idle Friend Brendon Chung's Expat) that I found browsing there.
