The response was amazing, and we were able to raise enough money to get multiple canvases! The first canvas purchase: "Video Games," by Blambo. This canvas arrived at the Thumbs office on 2014-01-28. The second set of canvases: This set arrived on 2014-02-11. There are at least 2 business days left before I receive the digital proof and they start making the canvas and more days before i write the gift note (which will be sent separately). I will make a post on Monday night (or when donations are close to covering the cost - whichever is first) with some details of where we are and any next steps. subbes Posted January 19, 2014 Don't fret, Tycho. The gift note will go to some outlandish combination of names to properly identify the recipient and allow for package reconciliation. The order form doesn't allow for such specifics. We're 95% pledged/funded for the cost of the item (including my own contribution)! All in less than a day! I am so IGN.com by this!! As I've already placed the order, any amount we go over will end up going to a separate purchase. I will happily elaborate on my plans for that later.
