Some eclectic ones from me. First, the "Land Battle" theme from Sid Meier's Pirates is probably the most addictive song I've ever heard. I don't know, it just gets stuck in there (or rather, it has been stuck for almost a decade now).

Also, "Baba Yetu" from Sid Meier's Civilization IV is the best menu music ever, full stop. I went the extra mile to find one on Youtube with the menu as the video, just so you get the full experience.

To make it not all stuff from Sid Meier, I'll put in something from Tropico 4. It's hard to pick just one, it's all so important to the zone that you get into with the game.

Holy fucking, shit that music from Tropico is fucking AWESOME. My mom would fucking love that shit, since she's a humongous salsa fan.

Anyway, I'm in love with Kentucky Route Zero's music. This one mesmerized me.

The Vendigroth Wastes. Like most of Arcanum's soundtrack it's played by a string quartet.

Oriental Spirit. This orchestral piece from Outcast reminds me of jewish folk tunes with its sad mournful melody. Considering that the citizens of the desert city in Outcast are oppressed just as the jews were for a long time of their history, I guess this is a good fit.

Other World 1. Part of the soundtrack from the visual novel/adventure game hybrid YU-NO. The game was originally released for the NEC PC-98 line of computers, which was distributed almost exclusively in Japan. The soundtrack makes great use of the capabilities of the PC-98's FM Synthesis module, the Yamaha YM2608. There's so much to choose from the YU-NO soundtrack, it offers so many great catchy tunes and rhythms that go directly into your body...well, I guess this is as good a choice as any:

The build up in this one is perfect. The full version is even better.
