So. My number one question, having now seen all of the story content (as far as I know):

what the hell was supposed to happen with paz???

Have you visited Paz and seen all of the dialogues (you need to rescue all of old motherbase soldiers to get the pictures to show her) in the medical platform?

Cause if you do, the very last cutscene shows her dying in Ground Zero ending, with the room she was in turning out to be... just some empty section that is under construction.  Then you get the last tape from her reveals that you were hallucinating her and the tapes she's been giving you because you couldn't accept her death til now.

Ok so if you

never seen Paz in game...

go to medical platform and on 3rd floor there is this blue door that will open when you go near by...

Go there every deployment cause you can only trigger a cut scene each visit.

Well after losing Quiet it sort of killed my will to play the game. I know it's the unpopular opinion, but I vastly prefer her to D-Dog (for any mission that's Big And Open, anyway, I won't use her for infiltrating a mansion, for example).

I might go back and play or I might just watch that stuff on YouTube...

I don't know much about Metal Gear, but someone on Glorious Trainwrecks made a flickGame for it and I figured I'd help it find a receptive audience.

You play flickGames by mousing over colors that change the cursor and clicking them.

I need resources. to build a nuke and to finish upgrading my base.

How I get resources.

Also I want to upgrade my various facilities, but i spent an hour optimizing last night and it ended up getting me only a couple levels in r&D and Intel, instead of the 8 levels I needed... how can I hunt down specific specialists?

This is probably divine punishment for me not giving a shit about managing these dudes for so long. ):

I've also only got two missions left to S rank. A Quiet Exit and Code Talker Extreme. The latter I know I could do if I could just make it past the skulls. The former I'm told is easy with the right fully-upgraded weapon.

But I can't fully upgrade the weapon without R&D and Intel improving. ):

Looking forward to the mission tasks so I can just go crazy and have fun. O:

One of best place to farm is OKB zero with raiden/cyborg ninja suit.  There are lot of crates there and what you do is collect them.

What you are relying on is that all resources reset in mission area (I mean mission not free-roam or side ops) when it ends, so you run around collect all the crates in OKB Zero and when you reach a checkpoint, exit via return to AAC option and repeat.

That way you can ton of unprocessed, which will let your main base process them at a very good rate.

Another good mission I hear is 21.

Yeah it feels to me like my base processes at a really low rate but I dunno. ):

I've also heard FOBs is a good way, but I tried some of those last night and they got HARD since last I did one. Too hard. I couldn't finish one!

OKB Zero has a ton of cargo containers, yeah.

I unlocked the cyborg suit a while ago. It's the Gray Fox costume, from MGS1. Low-poly style like that, too. Similar to the Solid Snake costume, but instead of being another sneaking suit, it makes you run fast, and you knock down anyone you run through.

Wait what?!?! I got all the photos and thought I visited her enough times, but somehow I missed this cutscene.

There is one photo that's easy to miss.

After you have done all of the "wandering mother base soldier" missions, there is one last photo stuck to the wall as you enter Paz's wing of the medical platform. I walked past it like 3 times wondering why I couldn't make things progress with Paz before I found it.

Hmm I thought I got all the photos since I unlocked the trophy. Maybe there is an extra one, or maybe I thought I talked to her again but actually didn't.

Oh that's how you get it? Man, I was dreading that the last mother base soldier mission was unlocked once you do all the side ops.

The mission tasks are so glitchy it's ridiculous. Some things just don't register when you do them (e.g. extracting containers or certain reinforcements) and some things just don't trigger (listening to all conversations in some missions).

I generally have no problems with the mission tasks except for the conversations. Those are broke as fuck. Sometimes you have to be close to make them trigger. Sometimes being too close makes them never trigger. It's a hot mess!

At least it's mostly easy and a good podcast-listening activity while I run around with the stealth camo. U:

Never take d-dog for conversation ones, d-dog can often break the task by interrupting the conversation :x

Hilarious when d-dog does that though, nothing like watching d-dog get shooed away then proceeding to knock every one out along the way~

One the the missions for listening to a conversation had the prisoner trip over right before he entered the house. It just fucked up the conversation starting. Had full quit the game to get it to work. Damn Viscount.

I'm at 93% and I finally finished the nuke/disarmament trophies. Seriously, trophies locked behind 24 hours of in game time is just dumb, I don't know why I cared. I just want 100%.

I now have to finish 17 missions for the tasks, and capture 5 more animals. There's just a few tasks I'm really not looking forward to - anything involving mission 1 and mission 45. The rest are pretty easy and fun, just glitchy.

My nuke built in 30 hours overnight. I dunno if you are missing a patch that changed it or my game bugged, but yeah.

I'm at 90% myself. Probably will finish today! Need to get the animals and finish off like 8 missions I think. One of which is extreme quiet with no firearms, which... in case you were wondering, means you can't use the rocket arm to stun her. So I gotta figure that out. \:

Sleep grenade launcher works if you just hit her indirectly via sleep gas.  Not sure if you disqualify by hitting her directly but better safe than sorry I guess?

I got it by tranqing her until she was low and then i kicked her for the final blow. Easy(?). (Actually yes easy because I was using stealth camo.)

I don't connect online, so that might have something to do with why the nuke took 24 hours of play time to do it.

I used normal sleep grenades for Quiet. Two did it nicely.

UGH another mission where extracting containers for the task didn't register. The worst part is that they take time to respawn, so you can't just do the mission again.
