prawks Posted July 3, 2014 The wait for Half Life 3 wouldn't be so infuriating if it wasn't for that cliffhanger at the end of HL2 Episode 2. As much as I dig half life I wouldn't be too upset if they decided to never make another one I guess, or letting other people make stuff in the world with different characters. But I want another Day of Defeat. Valve can't quit making games entirely! I can't even imagine the response if Valve announced they weren't making any more Half Life games. I think I'd agree with you, however. It's better to leave the cliff hanger if the other option is being unable to wrap the series up the way it deserves (see: LOST, Scrubs).
