Music of the games of video

Recommended Posts

He won a Grammy a few years back for an album including this. My cousin's chior sang it for a competition once too. She looked a little horrified when I told her it was from a video game.

This is my first instance of actually loving a piece of music from a game. I used to load up my save here all the time.

Wow didn't know about the grammy, nice though.

Anyways remembered these two.

Man, so many of those games you have to play using an emulator.

System Shock 2! (A game that i would still say is my personal all-time favorite.)

^ I still love the awesome drum and bass combat themes, even if they weren't always appropriate for the tone.

^ But the real stars are the just phenomenally, pants-wettingly creepy ambient themes.

This thread is pretty unhealthy for your nostalgia glands. Such an overdose!

I used to turn on my Amiga and let this theme play for ages...

I have decided that there need to be more C&C tunes in this thread, and for the purposes of keeping it interesting, here's a couple from the Red Alert expansion packs that i presume a lot of people probably haven't played.

I would actually prefer the Adlib version, but that's weird.

Also, more Dune for no reason!

Shivers down my spine.

Okay, I'll stop.

These days some producer would say you can't scare away the player in the menu. That's how far we've fallen.
