DocRandal Posted March 5, 2016 Atlas's horizontal to vertical crouch explosive thrust could be very easily re purposed for shattering human sternums. Just saying.

James Posted March 13, 2016 soooo.... AlphaGo won the first game against Lee Sedol. It's coming.I do find it delightful that AlphaGo developer DeepMind was co-founded by Demis Hassabis, who at 17 was the lead programmer on Theme Park. (Presumably this AI is better than that in Theme Park, which seemed to cause all my lawn-mowing handymen to end up stuck in the bottom-right corner of the map.) Henroid Posted March 14, 2016 All I'm gonna say is if a robot stitched my eye back together after whatever accident would make that necessary, that robot is gonna be my new best friend. We're gonna hang out and play video games and shit.
DocRandal Posted March 17, 2016 http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-03-17/google-is-said-to-put-boston-dynamics-robotics-unit-up-for-sale Google puts Boston Dynamics up for sale. Possible acquirers include the Toyota Research Institute, a division of Toyota Motor Corp., and Amazon.com Inc. Basically the refusal (bee-fusal?) of the military to fund or buy product from Boston Dynamic was its undoing. PetMan will remember this.
SecretAsianMan Posted March 17, 2016 God I hope it's Amazon. I cannot wait to hear the sounds of my Amazon Prime packages buzzing down the street toward my house on the back of a Big Dog. That article also reminded me that Google's parent company changed its name to Alphabet Inc
