Korax Posted September 16, 2009 I've only played for about an hour so far, but I'm very impressed. Slick menus, great graphics, and fun, beat-em-up gameplay. I can't attest to the sound design or voice acting (my TV's broken so I plugged it into my monitor and turned subtitles on), but if it's up to par with the rest of the game, I'll be very happy. It's also a completionist's dream. Audio logs, character dossiers, other random collectibles, hero-specific challenges (3 per hero), and combat challenges along with returning simulator scenarios and trivia. Oh, and the second mini-boss fight is against THE WIZARD:
Garple Posted September 16, 2009 Might one enjoy it if he doesn't give a spit about comic books?
Korax Posted September 16, 2009 One might. So far it doesn't require any special knowledge of the Marvel universe to understand what's going on. I'm not too big on Marvel's comics myself, but it's a fun action-RPG with Super Heroes™ (yes, Marvel has trademarked the term).
ethanThomas Posted September 16, 2009 If you're unsure if you would like MUA 2, might I suggest checking out the first game? It should be pretty cheap by now...
Irishjohn Posted September 16, 2009 The first game provides some of my fonder memories of once owning a PSP. This second one seems like it could be a bunch of fun, even to relatively Marvel-ignorant people like myself. The first one was, and I knew even less then!
