circadianwolf Posted April 3, 2012 I'm curious about the origin of this alternate spelling. Was it a one-off coining? Was it deliberate, or an accident of ignorance? Is there a community of self-identifying weezards in the area?
miffy495 Posted April 3, 2012 I'm curious about the origin of this alternate spelling. Was it a one-off coining? Was it deliberate, or an accident of ignorance? Is there a community of self-identifying weezards in the area? Doesn't it just mean that "Wizard", "Wizzard", "Wezard", "Wezzard", and Wiizard" were already taken? Korax Posted April 9, 2012 Clearly the driver is an urologist who is very good at it. I think that would be a Whiz-ard. Been on a ska kick lately, so here's this: ALHybzqaWwg I would totally dress as a wizard if I was in a ska band.
racingfreak92 Posted April 22, 2012 Valve released their employee handbook, not exactly sure why. I only skimmed it but check the last page... they included a nice little Idle Thumbs shoutout in their Glossary. http://newcdn.flamehaus.com/Valve_Handbook_LowRes.pdf "Shitty Wizard—Person responsible for all Dota 2 bugs. Aka Finol."
Roderick Posted April 22, 2012 I was wondering whether that was an intentional Idle Thumbs thing or a coincidence (which is highly likely).

Salacious Snake Posted April 28, 2012 I decided to see what Instagram is all about, since it's apparently the most popular thing in the universe, and I took this picture. I feel like it belongs here: I call it "Lords Only"
Kreyszig Posted May 8, 2012 The old IBM presentation thing used as a backdrop for the idlethumbs twitter, made me suddenly remember the fantastic SICP lectures from MIT. Lisp wizardry, Hal Abelson wearing a wizard hat, mid 80ies, and a somewhat goofy special-effect-thing around the 3m mark, and a synth/midi/something-intro that'll make you cringe. If you do dabble in programming, I would actually recommend the whole lecture series. SLcZXbyGC3E The lecture might go well with a bottle of Lonely Wizard. BadPixel Posted July 12, 2012 A couple of friends and I made a YouTube video of the various wizard based hijinks we got up to in Trine 2's excellent internet multiplayer. Look out for a sweet wizard flip at 2:09.
