On a related note, Peter, you're scaring me. You just quoted an article by a paranoid leftist freak... Notwithstanding the fact that I think the man is right in most of what he says, I don't know why you're the one pointing out in all your Dopefish glory the gospel of extreme secular liberalism... :innocent:

hehe... That guy is actually currently one of my favorite columnists. Granted, he does get a bit carried away sometimes, but I enjoy the majority of his articles. I am liberal, and I don't support Bush in any way shape or form.

[edit]BTW, have you guys seen the craziness of Kerry's Middle East Policy?

I've made the decision to throw away my vote on a third party candidate this time around. I can't bring myself to agree with either of them - they barely have differing views really. They come from the same background, were in the same secret societies. I don't trust either.

"I say his three cent titanium tax goes too far!"

"And I say his three cent titanium tax doesn't go too far enough!"

I wish Joe Walsh would run for president again, I'd vote for him.

I'd vote for Rush Limbaugh if I only could... thankfully, I am not a citizen so I will have to vote for either Mickey Mouse or Homer Simpson...

Boss: Shawno, why have you been looking at furry porn all day?

Me: Gee boss, it must have... OH MY GOD! LOOK AT THAT!

Boss: Wha?

Me: Holy crap... that was... terrorific.

Boss: Indeed. What were we talking about again?

Me: My raise.

Boss: Oh... yeah. Is 50$ good?

Me: Nope.

Boss: Gee mister... you drive a hard bargain...

Me and boss: Hahahahahaha!

NO

Try harder, man. Don't be an idiot. "They're the same person basically" is the same shit that was floating around in the 2000 election. Gore and Bush clearly were not the same, much as Kerry and Bush aren't the same.

Well... they're pretty much the same when it comes to foreign policy, which is a big shame, but it at least appears that Kerry will be more competent domestically. Never really can tell till they're in office, but I seriously doubt that anyone could be worse than Bush. Hell, it'd worth voting against him if only to get his cronies out of office.

BTW, Jake, the post id on your last post is 6666. :shifty: I wonder what the 666th post was... is there anyway to find out besides going through every thread in the forum?

History is a blind giant - and he's kind of running...... on a crazy superfast hoverbike... - right , that means he is riding.... wella...

They both hold many of the same views; views that I wholeheartedly disagree with. Of course they don't agree with everything - particularly economics - but I don't like either of them, for many reasons. I've thought about it plenty, and I know who I'm voting for. It isn't either of them. Perhaps you should be harder pressed not to be an idiot by simply voting for a lesser evil? :rolf

I had strong enough reasons to like Wesley Clark, even though and in spite of the fact he bombed the shit out of my country for a questionable cause in the name of a superfluous international organization....

He was the only one of the democrats who was not totally artificial, alas, not being a politician, he didn't understand the short attention span of the media he spoke to. He would go into these hypothetical scenarios and say things that later he had to defend out of context...

Democracy doesn't work. A few more weeks and I will have THIS at a place where I like it. BTW, try out that game, it is charming, if nothing else...

America should have a dozen or-so parties, instead of just two, but it doesn't. I know that's very very very sad, and both the Republicans and Democrats probably only represent a small portion of what people truly want, but why not save your third party vote for 2008 and use your vote to get what is probably the worst president you've ever had out of the white house? When that's taken care of, you can worry about making the country more democratic again.

That seems to make a lot more sense to me, given that 4 more years of Bush will destroy the US completely.
