Oooh! Love Harvey Birdman, love Phoenix Wright. Unfortunately, the developer's track record doesn't instill the greatest amount of confidence. As long as they still have Colbert doing Reducto and Phil, it'll at least be worth a laugh.

Glad to hear that. Hopefully the tight timeline won't mean that the translation will be rushed. There was a significant difference between the early and late case translations in Justice for All. The writers definitely know how to tell a good story, regardless.

haha, we bought phoenix wright in paris last year and you can set it so it goes objection! in french. its pretty funny. French game shops are weird. its the same chains as anywhere else, i.e. GAME, but its full of men in their forties and fifties. Here it's just twelve year olds buying gta. Sigh.

Having played both games in English, it is my plan to play the first one in French (my PW2 is the Japanese version, which would complicate things too severely). It'll be an awesome way to keep my French alive and possibly even upgrade it. And there's a certain awesomeness with which Phoenix says objection! in French

I think that's a matter of taste. In my opinion there's a completely different flavour and accent to the way he says it. In that way, it IS a bit more like SACREBLUE!

OF COURSE its different! its the french word "objection" as opposed to the english word "objection". ive played both and they're totally different. so there.

Oh man, now I'm wishing Phoenix would point out and shout "SACRE BLEU!" or "CREPE SUZETTE!". I have heard the French version though, and it makes me chuckle:
