The Tingler Posted June 13, 2006 * Olimar (preferably plus a small Pikmin force) Olimar! Of course! Genius idea. Here's also hoping for a new Pikmin game (on either DS or Wii, both would be great). Here's a quote from Official Nintendo Magazine by Masahiro Sakurai (the Smash Bros director) which you may or may not find interesting: "Will there be other non-Nintendo characters in Brawl?" "A lot of people have been interested in the introduction of other characters into the Smash Bros game and Sonic has been brought up several times. Part of it is that you have to have somebody you can trust to take care of your character so we're looking at different possibilities. There are possibilities for other third-party characters as well, and it may be that even now there are corporate discussions going on about what other characters to use..." I would like to confirm that the interview did indeed end with the mysterious "..." trailing off. Another interesting point that everyone seems to have overlooked is that castle in the video that's being bombarded. Could it be a spoiler from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? baconian Posted June 14, 2006 I only like the idea if it's announced after Waluigi's Moonshine Mansion. Think about it: Waluigi goes back in time to the prohibition era and starts his own illegal distillery in a giant mansion, complete with secret passageways, hiding places and a giant speakeasy. Hot on his tail, however, are two cops who happen to be Italian immigrants from a family of plumbers. Meanwhile, he's facing heat from his top competitor, Al Wapone. A Waluigi FPS (or FPB...) seems like it'd be a good way for shiggsy to show people how to do FP on the Wii, cause if he can't figure out how best to do it, no-one can. Al Wapone:tup:

Anonononomous Posted June 14, 2006 * Olimar (preferably plus a small Pikmin force) If we're thinking about Ridley being the wrong size then Olimar is obviously out of the picture. He's the size of a roll of film.
miffy495 Posted June 14, 2006 he could stand on a giant tower of Pikmin, or even have a body made entirely of Pikmin holding hands. Just think, you could knock off one of his arms or something and he'd have to find a way to rally the Pikmin into reforming his lost limb.
