ysbreker Posted March 9, 2006 Here we go: A list of hot titles I'm dying to see how they will turn out: The nintendo revolution (Do I need to explain this? It's the Revolution!) Bioshock -- The spiritual sequel to System shock, need I say more? Enemy Territory: Quake wars -- Made by splashdamage, who made Enemy territory, the game that kept me hooked for (almost) every evening for the last 3 years. Also somewhat interested in: Half life 2 episodes -- more Gordon goodness in episodic form \o/ Sin 2 -- another episodic FPS game, curious how this will work out. (links will follow later)
miffy495 Posted March 9, 2006 After recently finally getting Darwinia, I'm quite looking forward to that strategy game that Introversion is working on at the moment. Forget what it's called (if it's even been given a name) but looks cool. I'm kinda curious about "Me and My Katamari," as I'm not sure if it could be pulled off without the analogue sticks. Other than that, all I'm really waiting for is for Amazon to deliver the copy of Trackmania Sunrise that I ordered so that I can get into that. Oh! I also hear they're working on a revolution sequel to Trauma Center: Under the Knife. If so, definitely on my list. Though it's a long way off yet so I may as well not get my hopes up. brkl Posted March 9, 2006 Yeah, I think it was called DefCon. It looks sweet.
Nick Posted March 9, 2006 Here we go: A list of hot titles I'm dying to see how they will turn out: The nintendo revolution (Do I need to explain this? It's the Revolution!) Bioshock -- The spiritual sequel to System shock, need I say more? Enemy Territory: Quake wars -- Made by splashdamage, who made Enemy territory, the game that kept me hooked for (almost) every evening for the last 3 years. All of those would be in my list. Also: Children of mana - as stated in the other thread Loco Roco - the odd PSP tilting thingamy Spore - ah yes, Spore
nsps Posted March 9, 2006 Even if, as some first-looks have suggested, "the gameplay is arse," I'm eager to take a look at Odama.
lailoken Posted March 9, 2006 Maybe Crysis, if only for the grrrraffffixxx other than that, maybe somebody is going to make that "ultimate game" edge magazine suggested some time ago, that without the strategy part would be ace.
Beardy Posted March 9, 2006 I'm looking forward to Okami by Capcom. I just wish I didn't have to wait until Q3-Q4 to play it :'(
elmuerte Posted March 9, 2006 Duke Nukem Forever I wish there was a release date sor I could plan a few days off.
miffy495 Posted March 10, 2006 Crap, I forgot about Loco Roco, Okami and Spore. Hmmm... better add those to mine.
Dingo Chavez Posted March 10, 2006 Anything that has 'Nintendo game' and 'on the Revolution' in its desciption. I'm also looking forward for SEGA's, and Capcom's projects on it. The others: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Okami (TellTale's) Sam and Max LocoRoco New Super Mario Bros. Mother 3/Earthbound 2 Final Fantasy XII - It doesn't look too great, to tell you the truth, but it got a perfect score in a Famitsu, and my brother said he'll pay for it. A Vampyre Story Metronome I also still really want Nintendo to localize Giftpia. it's been out in Japan for years now, but I think there's still hope for a localization... sigh... And I still haven't bought Chibi Robo. Hopefully sometime in the Summer. EDIT: Spore also looks pretty cool, so that too. EDIT 2: Also, the Ico team's next game. I think that's it. EDIT 3: Oh, and obviously Double Fine's next game. That's it... hopefully.
Dublin Posted March 10, 2006 Everything I'm waiting for has pretty much been mentioned, aside from Oblivion and Stalker. The latter of which I've had an eye on for years it seems. Which probably means it's either not going to come out, or it's going to come out and suck.
n0wak Posted March 10, 2006 Not mentioned: that PSP Ghosts n' Goblins game The new Outrun Yakuza (though I'm mostly meh on it) fucking Tetris I also want to import that Gradius collection for the PSP. I think it's out now... maybe?
Oath Posted March 10, 2006 Besides a lot of games that have already been mentioned (Spore, Metronome, Zelda), I'm quite interested in the new Warhammer Online (just because it might be a good Warhammer game) and The Witcher. I'm not a big fantasy buff, but there's just something that makes me want to play those games.
Ryam BaCo Posted March 10, 2006 hmmhmm...neverwinter nights 2 and probably runaway 2. (sequels, hooray! ) and duke nukem forever. not because i'm a fan of good old duke (in fact i really don't care about the duke games), only because of its unique "when it's done" running jokes. elmuerte Posted March 10, 2006 fucking Tetris It was called Porntris and was released quite some time ago.
Marek Posted March 10, 2006 Oh man, I played that. What?
n0wak Posted March 11, 2006 It was called Porntris and was released quite some time ago. I don't know about that one, but I did play a Tetris variant once that had naked people falling down the screen Tetris style and rather than clearing lines, you had to, er, arrange the people into certain positions. They'd move a bit, moan a bit, and be cleared off. It was fun for about 30 seconds.
Dingo Chavez Posted March 11, 2006 I forgot Virtua Fighter 5, yesterday. The only next generation game shown that made me drool. And Porntris, I gotta tell ya
OftenK Posted March 12, 2006 I think Bioshock sounds like it's going to be awesome. Other my games on my "eagerly-anticipated" list are: Spore, Dark Sector, and Metronome (does anyone know if Metronome has found a publisher yet?)
Kolzig Posted March 12, 2006 Metronome is still without a publisher...
vimes Posted March 13, 2006 Metronome is still without a publisher... Yeah that sucks.. this game NEEDS to be published.
n0wak Posted November 6, 2007 Hey guys. RE: Metronome That "Surfer Girl" insider/rumour site just had a mention of Metronome: 2) What is going on with City of Metronome?Development has been put on hold because Tarsier was unable to generate publisher interest (while certain possibly nonexistent titles get inquiries). A shame considering this is still one of the best next-gen titles I've played. Also, in hindsight, this thread is awesome.
Noyb Posted November 6, 2007 Hey guys. RE: MetronomeThat "Surfer Girl" insider/rumour site just had a mention of Metronome: Also, in hindsight, this thread is awesome. Really terrible, that news being right above the Bob Marley soccer game trailer. Although hopefully the Beyond Good and Evil sequel rumor is true.
sphaloman Posted November 12, 2007 Im pretty much waiting for Assassins Creed and Mass effect. They both look great
