Moosferatu Posted March 2, 2006 I finally got around to buying Hickee, and it's hilarious. Does anyone know if they're going to release another anthology type book, or should I just go ahead and get the other two books (here and here) as they are?
Malkmut Posted March 2, 2006 I don't think Graham Annable's going to be putting together another Hickee for a while. Fortunately, there's no shortage of quality anthologies -- Project Superior probably being the best accessible one ever (also has Annable and Scott Campbell in that one). Marek Posted March 2, 2006 I also recommend getting Grickle by Graham Annable. It's not as varied as Hickee for obvious reasons, but it's super funny and has lots of surreal humor.
Moosferatu Posted March 2, 2006 Project Superior appears to be out of stock just about everywhere. There is a new Hickee coming out soon. It was supposedly going to come out this week actually, but it looks like it was delayed.
Simon Posted March 4, 2006 Project Superior is well worth getting. Really varied styles and stories, mostly very excellent - as if Scott Campbell's comic isn't enough reason to buy it. I really liked Annable's Stickleback, which was a single story in a short book. I only have the thick Hickee book, keep meaning to get the slimmer volumes too. hermes Posted March 4, 2006 Ok, I'm lazy now, but what the hick is hickee?
Moosferatu Posted March 4, 2006 It's a hilarious anthology of comics by various artists including Razmig Mavlian, Nathan Stapley, and Scott Campbell from Double Fine and Graham Annable from Telltale.
hermes Posted March 5, 2006 ahh - ok. My interest is piqued (can interests be that?)..

Moosferatu Posted March 14, 2006 I only have the thick Hickee book, keep meaning to get the slimmer volumes too. I just got Volume 2 #1 and Volume 3 #1 today. You should definitely pick them up sometime. I haven't read 3.1 yet, but 2.1 has a particularly good series by Scott C. I asked about Volume 3 #2, and apparently it's not going to be coming out till June now. Bummer.
castorp Posted March 15, 2006 As mentioned above Graham Annables "grickle"-stuff is also a good choice. I got "further grickle" some days ago and it's great. Funny and sad and strange. Trying to get "grickle", but it seems to be out of print and thus very/too expensive - at least where I looked (amazon.de/.co.uk/.fr - yeah, I'm not good at looking - but maybe someone around these parts of the big porn-engine known as the Internet is - any ideas?). Moosferatu Posted March 15, 2006 This is the only place that I found with it in stock, though they might be lying.
castorp Posted March 15, 2006 Thanks. Looks good. Hope the shipping costs aren't over the top.
toblix Posted January 10, 2007 Okay, so I've got Grickle, Further Grickle and Hickee. I see there's lots of other stuff called Hickee This and Hickee That, and Hickee 2 #1 Volume 3 or whatever. Anyone know what the correct stuff to purchase is to get all the Hickee, if there's more stuff like this available, and where in the fucking Hell these things are available? What, do they print these things at home or something?
