DanJW Posted August 19, 2005 I liked the "hubris of man as the enemy" thing that Thunderbirds had going, and because there were regularly exploding models of big futuristic airports/power stations/factories.Also, nothing is hotter than a docking sequence. Captain Scarlet is by far my favourite Gerry Anderson show. Enigmatic and sinister bad guys, sexy female fighter pilots, and people dying. Even the hero died in every episode. It was much more gritty and cool
Roderick Posted August 20, 2005 OMG!!! You're blocking innovation! The animation industry needs to move on! Evolve or die! --Erwin I'm not against 3D, but against translating something inherently 2D into it.
miffy495 Posted August 21, 2005 Goddamn I feel young right now. In January 1990, I was two years and two weeks old. I did watch the original Transformers, but only in reruns. I picked the Autobots simply because to my young mind, nothing kicked quite so much ass as a sentient, transforming Semi. This thread makes me very curious as to the age of the average thumb. Maybe the next thing in this never-ending stream of polls we've had to endure over the last week or so.
