______deleteduser_____ Posted August 17, 2017 hey thumbs! long-time lurker here looking for a sanity check on if my webgl stuff is working for people, and some feedback on an action puzzle game I'm making: try out some intro levels here: http://kevinw.github.io/games/traplands/ and tell me what you think! Henke Posted August 17, 2017 Yup, those levels do a good job of teaching the mechanics, and were enjoyable to play.
osmosisch Posted August 17, 2017 Agreed. Pretty fun! I'm not sure I'm sold on the real-time aspect but that's not my thing in general anyway.
Robyn Haley Posted August 18, 2017 Very nice. A good progression of the basics that teaches you how to play without the need to spell it out for you. The ramp up in level difficulty felt good as well, made going through the game feel quick which combinded with the challenge can easily lead to addictive binges playing the game. I found the only mechanic that wasn't as clear was the direction in which you spit. I found myself double checking that I had last pressed the direction which I wanted to spit or holding that direction down to ensure that was where it was going. I worry how much that would come to frustrate me as the challeneges got trickier and might demand twitch reactions from the player.
