Jutranjo Posted May 8, 2017 I just cleared out the Marandus Ancient Dunmer Fortress, one of the ones for the Propylon travel. I scoured the whole thing for the index, I found the Propylon chamber but no index. It was a bit weird with some Redoran soldiers/scouts outside and hostile bandits inside. I googled where in the thing it is, turns out it's somewhere else entirely. Now I'm wondering, what's the intended in game way to find this one/the indexes? Lork Posted May 8, 2017 The intended way is to use the official Bethesda mod that adds a quest where a guy in the Caldera mages guild tells you where to find each of them in exchange for showing them to him.

Roderick Posted May 9, 2017 Yeah, in 200 hours of vanilla Morrowind back in the day I never found out what the deal was with those propylon chambers and therefore never used them. The upside is that you don't really super necessarily need them. There are enough modes of travel to fit your needs, and some places should be really hard to get to. Otherwise, how is it an adventure?
Jutranjo Posted May 11, 2017 I can't believe this text is from the fan mod and not in the original game http://tamriel-rebuilt.tumblr.com/post/77418009425/dunmer-law-a-primer
Jutranjo Posted May 21, 2017 Here's one of the good summaries of the weirdness of the lore in the TES games https://fallingawkwardly.wordpress.com/2010/09/02/the-metaphysics-of-morrowind-part-2/
