Emma Posted October 12, 2004 So yeah. I got tattooed yesterday, I'm very proud of them: One on each ankle. I'm already planning my next one! So, any of the rest of you got one you'd like to show off?
Salka Posted October 12, 2004 A certain somebody that just broke up with his Girlfriend (much to my delight) was telling me how he'd got a tattoo of her name on his hip, and now he's gonna have it laser removed because he ultra super regrets it. On the other hand, since you don't have personal relationships with stars... I really like your toes. Mine are crap.
Emma Posted October 12, 2004 I'd NEVER get someone's name tattooed on me, it's just asking for trouble. I have freaky clown feet and long toes, but thank you anyway.
Roderick Posted October 12, 2004 I think it's a sweet tattoo. I wouldn't even mind having something like that on me, even though I'd never.
Emma Posted October 12, 2004 Cheers. I like how simple they are, but I also like how stars symbolise direction and that's why I put them near my feet. There's a nice Marcus Tullius Cicero quote, which is “Quod est ante pedes nemo spectat: coeli scrutantur plagas.”, which translates as "No one sees what is before his feet: we all gaze at the stars.", so I guess that fits too. Pappa Posted October 12, 2004 Is this the new thing? Not tattoos of course (!), but tattooing two stars like those two in the pictures above? Cause at least a couple of my friends have the exact same stars (shape, size and colour), two of them, tattooed. Not by their feet though, but on other various parts of their bodies. And I've seen some other random people with the same thing. Hmm... It looks nice though!
Emma Posted October 12, 2004 I have zero clue. I got them because I've always wanted to have my ankles tattooed and I like the idea of stars (with the explanation above) near the feet.

Emma Posted October 13, 2004 Aww why? It's just like drawing on your leg with extremely permanent marker.

Skinkie Posted October 14, 2004 I can't use markers without drawing on myself. Back when I was majoring in art, I was a mess all the time.

Emma Posted October 14, 2004 I must be hardcore or something because I felt absolutely no pain. It was more of a sensation really. Like someone taking that metal bit off of an electric toothbrush, pressing it against your leg and turning it on.

I don't think there's supposed to be needles in it
Ryam BaCo Posted October 14, 2004 *Chases Ryam with marker pens*Let me draw a comedy moustache on you! there's already a moustache growing on my face. but i could shave it off, and then you could replace it with a hitler beard. and then we could go to the reichstag in berlin and i'll conquer the world as charlie chaplin in disguise. it will work, because of the similarities: a) i'm upper-austrian (like hitler) in my adolescence i spent a lot of time in linz (like hitler) c) i'm excellent in manipulating people (like hitler) d) hitler's parents are burried in a town where i went to school. e) i'll have an ugly, but funny moustache (like hitler) as you can see they're much more similarities than differences: a) i'm not a racist (shame on me!) i can't give orders to kill people (shame on my recreance ) c) i'm ALIVE (hahaha!) so...well...now call me your führer! heil ryam! that brings up the question why i am thinking about hitler while reading about moustaches..btw
Twilo Posted October 16, 2004 What the hell is a "hitler beard"? Did you just make that up? You just made that up!

Johanna Posted October 28, 2004 Nice tattoos. Very tasteful. I’m considering getting a spider tattoo done in the same place, to help with my arachnophobia.
