Paris Baguette also serves cronuts and I've never been to one that wasn't slammed with people any hour it was open. I miss living near one.

I mean you're free to have your opinion but since I've learned of salad cream I cannot imagine anything worse on anything.

Where does this forum stand on the question of ketchup on pizza's children: the calzone, the pizza pocket, the pizza bagel, and 'pizza' lunchables?

ketchup should be nowhere near italian or italian-adjacent foods.  I'm ok with ketchup on burgers/fries, though it's certainly not a favorite.

As far as pizza, though I don't use red pepper or parmesean, I'm ok with it's application on delivery or restaurant pizza.  Frozen pizza is most often a little bland so I'm cool with adding more to it, though in my case that mostly involves something basic like hot sauce.

I cannot get over salad cream.

Things that this thread has inspired me to try on Pizza:

Tonkatsu sauce

Chimichuri sauce

Mustard-based BBQ sauce

Hollandaise sauce

Nuoc Cham

and of course, Salad Cream. If for no other reason, morbid curiosity.

To be fair it got a real bump from salad cream, delivering pages bursting with what technically is a flavor

Are you surprised? It's always the controversial topics that blow up.

Ketchup is great with schnitzel, FWIW. Can be a bit dry otherwise. So it's not a sin all the time...

Just when you thought the thread was over, that it couldn't get any worse...

it's always a sin

in fact i've generally been pretty okay with tomatoes in general, besides their disgusting ketchup form, but cordeos is making an excellent case for banning them from all cuisine forever
