hammerpants Posted January 18, 2016 Yeah, I've had 3 or 4 levels delisted. Has anyone had any levels delisted? http://kotaku.com/nintendo-is-deleting-peoples-mario-maker-stages-without-1753248157
syntheticgerbil Posted January 19, 2016 Can you download these levels so if they are delisted you always have them or are they only accessed with an internet connection?
eRonin Posted January 19, 2016 Can you download these levels so if they are delisted you always have them or are they only accessed with an internet connection? Yeah when you select a level, you have a choice of either playing them (I assume they get downloaded to memory then deleted after the game is turned off) or downloading them to your system, I suppose so that you can play them later offline or if you want to tinker with it (tinkering with a map won't let you reupload it as a new map though, iirc)
Salacious Snake Posted January 20, 2016 (tinkering with a map won't let you reupload it as a new map though, iirc)That's true, and it's annoying. I understand wanting to prevent plagiarism, but I would love to be able to collaborate with someone by passing a level back and forth. I made some changes to a friend's level that I think he'd appreciate, but I can't send it back to him.
dartmonkey Posted January 31, 2016 I made a new course! It's a Trek-inspired experiment using musical notes but I've tried to make it a little more involving than just holding right and sprinting to hear a song. Although that is involved. https://twitter.com/dartmonkey/status/693781535497977856 Man, I blasted through a 100 Mario Challenge this morning on Easy. 6 out of the 8 were auto levels!
