  1. What's the deal with this Sam and Max? would you guys say it's some kind of video game?

Can anyone vouch for the framerate on the PC or PS3 versions of the new games? I bought season 1 on the Wii and it was a little tough to play it stuttered so often, as enjoyable as it was otherwise, and I'm not usually very snobbish about that stuff.

  2. I'll check those out Squid, I've read the Road, but need to check out the other mcormac stuff. Right now I'm switching between a Brief History of Time, and Ayn Rand's the fountainhead.

  3. The Road is also written in a very disturbing and unconventional way as well. Constantly referring to, "The Boy and the Man" and it's lack of traditional chapters, and of course the ending.

  4. Finally making the switch from Pad to Stick after all these years. Ordered a Hori SE stick off amazon for 40, not a bad deal at all. Hopefully the couple of weeks before Super will give me some time to adjust by the time it comes out. At least I will finally be able to try playing with the grapple characters now.

  5. I played it a lot the first couple weeks it was out but haven't played too much since then. It's a really fun online game though. I'd be down for some kind of idle thumbs forum night. Using the traversal mechanics to give yourself an advantage for a sneak attack really adds another layer to the combat.

  6. Ok, even though I play on a PS3 pad pretty well, rocking people with my above average gouken skills, I think I'm going to bite the bullet on an arcade stick finally and learn how to play it. Help me find a good deal on one fellas. Or if anyone has an old one they want to pawn off on me...

  7. As terrible as the pilot was, SPartacus Blood and Sand has actually turned into a worthwhile show. Initially I scoffed and wrote it off as 300 without a budget, but they tone down the cheesy looking blood, and start introducing some real storylines eventually. It's no Rome, but it's worth watching.
