  1. That's pretty nice. I'm glad the big publishers are starting to realize that removing a studio from it's individual identity kind of... sucks. I'm pretty sure there isn't any hope of Rockstar doing this for their studios (ie: Rockstar San Diego = Angel Studios) but that's kind of understandable, I guess.

Also, Valve gets a free pass for acquiring Turtle Rock and just blending them into the Valve name... because honestly who doesn't want to work for Valve?

  2. Had a bunch of dreams last night, but there was a very short one thrown in the middle of the rest of them which was pretty much just me standing in an empty room, and then a Tank from L4D2 crashed through the wall in front of me but didn't attack me. It looked like it was 'targeting' someone else, but there was nobody else in the room. And then my dream switched to something non-video game related.

I suppose this is the result of playing entirely too much L4D2. But I can't stop.

  3. I'm willing to give any horror game that I've yet to play a fair chance. I can't get enough of that shit. GOG is pretty great too, so I guess it's worth the $10.

    Gog. Gog-o-riffic.

  4. They're 3rd party stuff I've had since xp.

http://rocketdock.com/ for the icon thing at the top (which I use less with 7 than I did in xp)

and the other is Rainmeter, you kind of have to shuffle around quite a bit to find skins you like (weee 3rd party...), but I find it sorta useful and pretty..

    http://rainmeter.net/RainCMS/

Boatloads of skins for it: http://customize.org/rainmeter

The ones I use are 10 Foot HUD (for the time/date)

and part of this one: http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/47014

    I hope thats helpful :)

Rainmeter has some really cool skins. At one point last year, my desktop was Half-Life 2 themed. The in-game HUD was reproduced as widgets for playing music and such. It looked really sharp.

  5. Yikes, when was the last time you actually upgraded? Love both games though, and they are both installed on my PC to this day...

Haha, I haven't upgraded for a LONG time; kind of embarrassing for a PC enthusiast like myself. But! I'm super excited to get my new machine up and running. I also forgot to mention that the first thing I usually install is Steam and I pick and choose games off my Steam list.

But who am I kidding? I'm having Torchlight withdrawal, so I'm probably just going to play that first.

  6. My friend and I decided to pick up Ghostbusters on Blu-ray the other day. Last night we sat down to watch it and apparently it has a feature that I haven't seen on other Blu-ray movies (yet) called "Blu-Wizard." I should have taken a screenshot with my phone.

  7. I always install Max Payne 2 and Diablo II first. Diablo II is always on there just because it is awesome, but I really like testing new hardware with Max Payne 2 since it's just such a beautiful game with great post-processing effects. I'm currently building my new rig as well, so I can't wait to see how silky-smooth and pretty MP2 is going to be.

Just got my Asus P6T Deluxe v2 Mobo in the mail today, along with my Core i7 CPU and Rosewill 1000W PSU.
