I notice TGP is getting some great reviews around the internet home pages. I hope this results in incrementing sales for you guys. Also, I heard you probably wouldn't be doing any more adventure games.
Well...
FUCK YOU
Thanks for the good wishes, and as for the latter sentiment... well, just hold onto that 'probably'

Oh, just a little joke. I'd be very surprised to find a toblix post that wasn't sarcastic in some manner -- the thought boggles the mind.Oh no, another fail!
These forum newbs sicken me.

Hmmmm, that would be a question for Dan, but I'm guessing '1'. I'll point him towards this thread!

I consider the DOS version of PoP the best version.

Yay! Amazing, thanks toblix! Donations will be taken into account when considering the marketplace realities of making another one!

Hello! Yeah, the orange donate button on the home page is the best way. Thanks for your support, guys!

Mmm, I stuck at the very beginning : I've chosen the stealth approach and now I can't think of anyway to put it in practice. Also, how are the sales going ?
Let's put it this way: we haven't started the sequel yet..! It's doing okay, but we're hoping for a spike when we get some stuff in print soon. But arsehole pirates have already got their grubby mitts on it.
Don't worry about the stealth approach, btw! Need a hint..?

Ha ha! Our current position is that we'll start to think about a sequel if TGP hits 10 000 sales...
Glad you enjoyed it!

Check this link. It is fucking genius and only loosely related to the original statement:

Yufster? Are you there? You didn't try to fix it by getting it struck by lightning again, did you?
YufSTERRRRRR?!!!

You're having trouble getting power to the box at all? It just turns on for half a second then goes off again? If so, I'd say it's nothing to do with the service provider, it's something that could have happened to any appliance.
I'd try the basics: plug it into a different socket, that you know is working/plug something else into that socket to check the socket's circuit isn't gone somehow. If it's not the socket, then perhaps it's worth changing the fuse in the plug. If that doesn't help get power to it, then it's something more majorly wrong with the box itself and I guess you would need to call the cable providers and ask for advice (they may have to send someone round).
Have I got the wrong end of the stick? Does this sound like sound advice to everyone else? Is it too late for this now?

There's no shame in doing what Tobix tells us, Nevsky!
Sorry for the bump, guys, just wanted to let any of you who had trouble with Paypal on our site know that we've sacrificed aesthetics for robustness, so it should all be working fine now.

It's kind of obvious it's a hoax though. Not sure but it sounds too good to be true. No, I checked it on snopes.com, it's real.

And remember to play it naked!
Thanks Toblix!

Has Ron Gilbert sold out !?
Ron is talking about a Special Edition style re-release with new graphics and voices, not a ToMI style sequel. So he hasn't sold out by consulting on ToMI, but he has changed his mind about the idea of a Special Edition.
On the subject of MI2's ending, I suspect Ron was planning to make a third game, and so put the lightning/spell stuff in as a cliffhanger and to give himself somewhere to go. I think he wanted to have his 'imagination twist' cake and eat it. What I would be interested to see, if we ever got The Real Monkey Island 3 from Ron, would be how he decided to balance the imagination twist, which he had been setting up throughout the two games, vs the 'this is real' Caribbean stuff.

Toblix: Yay! Enjoy! Have emailed Dan re. your PM, and will let you know...
Noyb:
You need an old-school pen...
EDIT: Oh, apparently the whole game works great on Crossover.

Knowing is one of those films that I will agree with any criticism of, but follow up with "but I just really liked it!"

But he wouldn't have five others to go along with her!
-
Yeah, well Andre Dussolier didn't have a CARDBOARD BOX.
That's right, I dropped the C+H bomb.
-
No, wait! They didn't have Tia and Tamera Mowry!
-
Shit, I think you won already.
-
That's what the writers from Two and a Half Men said ....Yeah, but they didn't have Paul Reiser, Greg Evigan and Giovanni Ribisi on board.
