Ahhhg it's all different. I FEAR CHANGE!
Who's in charge here?! I think it's you.

So... does that mean that there isn't a forum setting here for the number of posts per page? No offense, but I really hate extension bloat and don't really want to have to install an extension if there's just a setting somewhere I haven't found or y'all haven't enabled.
None taken! I didn't intend my post to mean anything beyond my own fawning over a thing I thought was neat; sorry if it came off as anything resembling a definitive answer. I don't really have any insight into the forum installation/administration nitty-gritty, but I checked my own user options and didn't see anything that would let me adjust the amount of posts per page. My guess is that there isn't anything like that on a per-person level, but I dunno!

Cheers for that, does the trick here and elsewhere nicely
Cool! Yeah, I've found it usually works pretty well, and can be disabled easily (on a per-site basis) when you end up somewhere where the extension freaks out or doesn't play nice.

Yo, for people asking about changing the number of posts per page (and also happen to use the Chrome browser), might I suggest the AutoPatchwork extension? As you scroll down, it'll automatically load the next page of posts on a number of websites and types of forum software. I dig it.

Looks great!
Angry tomato is dead, I fear.

I appreciate you saying "friends," here and not "one time Sean was hammered and got taken to 2nd and Folsom and it cost him thirty dollars to get home."Sean is some kind of sad-cab champ.

Played a lot of NES at friends' houses as a kid but wasn't allowed to own a video game console. However, our first PC (a Tandy 1000 TX, I'm pretty sure) circumvented this rule somehow. Played a lot of Battle Chess, Number Munchers, and some Looney Tunes cartoon maker. I remember getting in a lot of trouble for installing or saving things on the hard drive (rather than on my allotted floppy disc) as we were fighting against a 20MB capacity hard drive. Sadly, it was clear its days were numbered when it choked on Space Quest IV.

Hey All - Heard lots of good things about Idle Forums and am finally joining.Ah, the hobo we paid to stand outside your house shouting nice things about this place paid off. Finally.

Hey there!

Hi, new folks!

That wasn't an option since it's a stupid prepaid credit card, but I could have lowered the amount manually before the thing ended. So no Kickstarter money for, but I feel bad about it so can I donate something using Paypal or something? I feel like a goddamn third-rate Thumbs now.Aww, but without you, the puzzle is incomplete!

Yeah, is this going to be archived? I'm probably not going to be telling my girlfriend that I'm cancelling a date to watch a podcast count a thing down, but I do want to see it sooner or later...Not speaking for Thumbs, but I imagine that's likely and a TwitchTV default. You might have to create a specific re-cap video to permanently archive it, but I think the full video lasts a few days on the page without any extra effort. I could have some/all of that information wrong, however.
I have company tonight and will not be able to watch
or attend
.

Will there be any Double Fine-esque live shenanigans for the countdown in a few hours (not that I'll be awake)?Yes! Here! In 1h50m from time of posting!

I think there was an episode where Chris told an amazing Far Cry 2 story about being annihilated by his own thrown grenade due to physics bringing it back downhill to his position, or something like that! Can't remember the episode number or specifics, though, sorry!

Bump success.

My curiosity was piqued, so I decided to try pulling them off an archive.org snapshot from 2007.
It totally worked!!
If for some reason this doesn't work for you, I can send the files to you somehow. Hooray!

I survived the first day and then became too scared of all the intrigue to play any more.
Someday, Mechner.
