    buy all the 5 star businesses and you'll have a million gold or whatever in no time, i was getting something stupid like like 20,000g every 5 minutes whilst i was doing the end part of the game.

    oh inside the castle there is a weird bonus quest line also. :tmeh:

    i need to remember to go trade fable in whilst it's still worth more than £3

    image import - silence. Last we heard was a picture on Mm's flickr proving that it exsits whilst Sony denied that it could ever work.

    lost in the ether whilst they try and get people like disney to spend money to get their art in the game, not wanting people to just put it there themselves.

    My co-blogger tom has 100% of everything and all the trophies, he is a sicko.

    On that level there are some hidden ones like umm when you ride the horse down the hill, jump off him and get up onto the trees... also you can jump along from the castley bit to the left to get some other ones.

    I'll happily play with you and help you find missing ones, I've got a buch myself for other levels

    Is there a single person who found something to enjoy in that "first video footage" of Star Wars: The Old Republic? I heard the same incredibly tired, bulk bin message discipline, only this time it was stuck together with context-free wads of video.

    They're continually telling us about their mystical Story Pillar, and how other online role-playing games don't have story, but this is a flatly ignorant statement. I don't believe they said it out of malice, but sometime prior to their presumptive coronation they may want to consider playing games in the genre. Independent of developer intention, narratives spring quite readily out of social play. Asheron's Call has not only story but time, with updates almost every month to progress the world. If you've checked out Wrath of the Lich King - a dangerous act, surely - you know that the new expansion is radically unlike their previous attempts, and leverages new technology to deliver a kind of narrative that players progress on their own schedule.

    When Bioware talks about grievous decision making in real-time that will forever shape their character, I don't think that's what people actually want in this kind of experience. Games of this kind get codified very quickly, transforming your best attempts at story width into golden, optimal paths. We don't know what it actually means to make story central to an online game you can play with friends, who are themselves in various states of completion. We don't know because they haven't actually said.

    Could it actually be good underneath? It certainly has a chance at it, and we all loved KoToR. I can't help feeling that the mmo part of the game will be shit, and the rest will be pretty great. I am eager to learn more of their 'fourth pillar' that I apparently have never experienced before.

    some feature notes before i forget em :)

    - score board should display in order of winner -> loser

    - needs in-game chat and notification x kills y, Z has joined the game etc

    - bring up score board with tab plz

    power ups and objectives and things are gonna make it even more fun, I look forward to that :)

    the net code is scary, hosting a game turned my internet into 1996, should probably consider getting some dedicated servers ....

    Thanks everyone who came along! It was a fun session, sadly plagued with a few crashes and some lag for a few people.

    'll find out from eljay etc how they want to gather feedback, probably an email or something is gonna be easiest, but some general comments in here will be interesting too...

    New build is up and ready for tonight.

    note: you have to install it from the same exact location that you installed it from before or it cries.

    If in any doubt uninstall the old build from control panel and then re-install from the new zip.
