    Anyway, I asked for a refund for it 'cause why bother with a game I can't play properly... Hope it gets better in the future or something!

    At this point, an SSD is basically required.

The setting creates really interesting tense moments ("The doors in that building are already open." or "Oh shit, did you hear that car?"), and fortunately the game doesn't dwell on the gross Battle Royale setting.

    I also expected that of myself initially, but it really depends on what you want in a given play session. I've had games that were tense from the start because my group jumped out where a bunch of others did, but you can always just go to an isolated area and scavenge peacefully, collecting until the circle tightens. I even had a game where me and a friend spent about 5 minutes getting kitted out near a beach, and then took boats deep into the ocean where we could just wait as the others killed themselves.

     

    With how me and my groups usually play, there's only real PVP-based tension for about a minute each game (except for the one person who survives longer).

I've really enjoyed every game Chris Avellone has written or designed, and since he (I think) was the lead on Prey, I've been anticipating it. Of course the discussion is "this is nonsense fun game and you can float out into space as a banana." 1 luv.

    Even though I listened to every IT episode last year, I didn't remember the brain story either. I won't forget it this time, because I was incredibly nauseous when listening!

    As far as stream requests, CKII would be nice to see again. The Monks & Mystics expansion from earlier today lets you join a Satanic cult and generally expands the religious game.
