Will we be able to play the HD version with subtitles on if we choose? And alternately, will we be able to play the original version with voice on if we choose?
Yes to the first and no to the second.
|
Hmm... Kind of ambiguous. It might mean you'll be able to turn voice off and switch to subtitles only, or it might mean you can turn subtitles on in addition to the voice.

It's not the hair, it's the face. Those eyes. He looks like he's had a lobotomy.

The hair isn't a problem so much as the distance between it and his eyes. That is, his forehead is ungodly huge, and I think that's part of what makes his eyes look so vacant.

How dare you, the first one is brilliant. I realise it looks like I'm saying that just because it's the original but it is true, especially the close up.
As for the special edition one I'll be happy if they just save that one for a special blank expression. If it's the normal one then... no

If you don't have Monkey Island 1 yes, if you do and have the spare cash, yes.

Being a relative virgin to retro adventure games, I'm hopping on this asap. I need to build my gamer cred. =/

I vaguely remember something about that guy at AG, but apparently he was banned like me for bad behavior. Not that I'm saying in any way that I acted like a good person on those forums or can vouch for whatever happened with BacardiJim (search doesn't seem to show anything)... er...
Anyways, I don't remember what he was like. I'm imagining Randy Sluganski from JustAdventure with a shiny forehead, loving bad web design, and ready to give a 9/10 to anything that comes out in the genre. This is probably inaccurate.
