GTA IV Trailer - Ten things you didn't see Review

UK publication Computer and Video Games today released its review of the teaser trailer to Rockstar North's upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV (PS2, X360). For those on the fence about whether the CVG piece is worth checking out, we've gone hands on to break it down with our full review of CVG's review.
The immortal Chris Remo makes a random return to Thumbs for a one off Extreme Power Review. Read it, go on.

Some might say that Sir Extremo's look at the CVG analysis of a the upcoming GTA IV trailer can be seen as a statement about the game industry's urge to focus on what is to come rather than what is at hand. Some might even say this is a statement of a man, a gamer and a reviewer who, after a decade of cheer enthusiasm toward the medium, is growing weary of the latent yet growing incompetence in video game journalism. Some might. But the past record and the integrity of the writer who always avoided tackling its competitors gives no clue about the seriousness of such allegations.
What can however be said is that Sir Remo's literary eloquence barely hides with a mix of talent and x-treme cuteness the declaration of love he is willing to make in order to reach the heart of the Thumb readers again. In Idle Thumbs' collective mind, the remembrance of he who was once a glorious herald of ITRJ* might have been tainted by the gross treasons and misplaced emigration to Shacknews , but he put in this piece such power that even the more doubtful might see their grudge kicked back to the shadows... Vans Style, évidemment.

Anyway, I find extremely funny for a CVS writer to go: "Pfff, this is an obvious movie reference. People might have missed it, but we, the intelligencia, saw it right away!" ... and make a huge mistake : this is not Francis Ford Coppola's documentary you stupid, he was only a producer! The director was Godfrey Reggio!
And I only had to look at Wikipedia to know this.!

Great article I bet Vimes' bit wasn't supposed to say "cheer enthusiasm" though.

Wrong. It's actually a preview of a preview.

You sir, captured that trailer quite nicely. Well done! A lot more thought provoking than CVG's write-up.
Minus points for not being extremo, which is not your fault but is nevertheless missing.

That didn't go far enough. They should have posted teaser screenshots of the trailer days before, so that sites review them and people post replies on comments speculating about it.
