Ron Gilbert has started blogging at
GrumpyGamer.com, covering a handful of miscellaneous geek topics, as well as featuring various ramblings on the game industry. Ron talks about the use of celebrity actors for voice recording in games, why adventure games suck (alledgedly?), and comments on some independently created adventure games. Well worth a visit!
Gilbert
recently made known that he's going back to mainstream gaming and is about to sign a publishing deal. He famously designed Micro Machines 2 and Emmanuelle: A Game of Eroticism back in the early nineties. (I'm assuming none of our ten readers need to know his actual gameography. (Okay shhh, calm down, he made Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion.))
