PC Gamer Magazine UK were the first to break the Half Life 2 Expansion news, during an interview with Valve’s Robin Harper and Mark Laidlaw in their May issue. Exploding the rumours that we would play as Alyx Vance, they instead tell us that Alyx will accompany you more and be more interesting to interact with. Valve very carefully avoided stating whether or not you will play as Gordon Freeman in the events following the end of Half Life 2.
